Representation Agreement between EDEM & PRS for Music
EDEM Rightsholders Cooperative signs a milestone agreement for repertoire representation abroad.
Acting on its commitment to secure members’ rights for the use of their catalogue abroad, EDEM Rightsholders Cooperative recently signed with the British performing rights organization PRS for Music to enforce catalogue property rights internationally. The unilateral representation agreement between the two organizations was signed on Dec 17th 2020 and will remain active for EDEM’s entire lifespan.
By signing this agreement, EDEM’s catalogue will be represented in the UK, Cyprus, Malta and the Bahamas as well as Commonwealth territories such as Bermuda, British Indian Ocean Territory, Cayman Islands, Diego Garcia, Falkland Islands, Gibraltar, Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man, South Georgia & South Sandwich Islands, Ascension & Tristan da Cunha and Caicos Islands.
